Welcome!

The Logan Area Public Library opened its doors in 1997 as part of the Logan Middle School. Being located within the Middle School, we are centrally located to the citizens in our area. The Library has many FREE services available for the public to take advantage of. We invite you to stop in and "Check out" what we have to offer.

CROCHET CLUB:  Join us every Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:00 for our crochet club.  Beginners are welcome, we will teach you the basic stitches!

COMMUNITY PUZZLE:  We invite everyone to come in, sit a spell, relax, and enjoy working our community puzzle.  Once the puzzles are finished, they will be framed and added to our gallery.

DOLLY PARTON IMAGINATION LIBRARY:  The Library has application forms for children ages birth to 5 years old to register to receive a free book in the mail each month.  If you have a child under the age of 5 who is not signed up, please stop by the Library to sign them up today!  Your child will receive a free book each month until their 5th birthday.

GAME TABLE:  We invite everyone to come in, sit a spell, relax, and enjoy working our community puzzle.  Once the puzzles are finished, they will be framed and added to our gallery.

PAINTING WORKSHOPS:  The Library periodically offers adult painting classes for beginners.  Debra Spradling is the instructor for these classes.  The cost for the first class is $35.00, which includes a set of paints, set of brushes, and a canvas.  Each additional class you take will be $25.00, and only the canvas will be provided. Please call us or check with us on Facebook for details and dates for these classes.

Cassie Parsons, Library staff, periodically offers painting classes for children ages 8 and up. These classes are free, but space is limited. Please call us or check with us on Facebook for details and dates for these classes.

TODDLER TUESDAY:  September through May we have Toddler Tuesdays every Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.,.  We read a story, do activities, make a craft, play games, and more!  This free program for preschool age children encourages reading at an early age and helps with the development of social skills. Everyone is welcome to join us!

GAME TABLEThe library now has a game table with several games to choose from including chess, checkers, scrabble, uno, and more.

The library offers many programs and events for children, teens and adults.
