Library Journal Review
Expert herbalist and lactation consultant Silverstein's first book aims to help women who are struggling with mood swings and want to master their emotions and gain more control over their lives. The author offers many different areas of focus, using a largely holistic approach. From liver care to feng shui, from practices involving aromatherapy to color charts, she considers aspects of life that women can control, and thus reach the titular state of bliss. Interviews with and advice from specialists within various disciplines complement a 90-day program to follow, which includes quick reference charts and recipes. Like the best self-help books, this one takes case studies and the author's experience to create an illuminating read. VERDICT Though it seems aimed at a niche market, the advice here will appeal to a range of women seeking help with mood swings, and would be a nice addition for libraries with robust health sections.-Linda White, Maplewood, MN © Copyright 2018.
